I placed my faith in Jesus when I was 5 years old. I dedicated my life to serve Him at age 12. In 2008 I preached my first message in Spanish in the country of Honduras. In 2010 I graduated from Pensacola Christian College with the desire to serve the Lord on a Spanish-speaking foreign field. I went in the fall of 2010 to serve the Lord teaching English and starting a church. I turned that church over to a national in 2011 and then returned for further training in the USA. While home I served in our Spanish ministry, and then I received my master’s degree in Bible from West Coast Baptist College in 2014. Although I have been in 7 different countries, none captured my heart like Ecuador did. In April 2015 I returned to plant a second church. I was married to my wonderful wife April 2016. This year, 2017, we received a little blessing from God, our daughter Daniela. The church in Quito, by God’s grace, is going strong under my assistant Gabriel, who is from Venezuela. We hope to turn the church over to him in 2018 as we head over to the Galapagos Islands.
I was born in Mexico in 1994. One year later my family moved to Spain. My parents had a burden for the Spanish people and have been serving faithfully there for over 20 years. Growing up as a missionary kid was a big blessing because we were able to see first hand how God answered prayer and moved hearts. God clearly guided my steps towards Ecuador, and I can say that being here, and being able to serve alongside my husband, is the most wonderful blessing God has ever given me.
